![]() ![]() The game has a series of levels split into multiple planets. During the gameplay, the pigs and birds play the characters’ roles from the Star Wars prequel trilogy. There are up to fifty-six playable characters from which the player selects his own. The player needs to earn up to three stars in each level to continue the game. In the game, the player needs to destroy the targets fortified out or in of his fortresses including different brutal bosses, focused on the side he is playing. The game mixes the Physics, Puzzle, and Side-scroll gameplay and it is a crossover between Star Wars and the series of Angry Birds, released on September 2013. Ragdoll Blaster 2 includes prominent features such as Physics-based Gameplay, Challenging Puzzles, Several Levels, and more.Īngry Birds Star Wars II serves as the seventh title in the series of Angry Birds developed and published by Rovio Entertainment. The game will reward you with points, depending on how many times you use the cannon. Your main objective in the game is to destroy all the objects using the cannon within limited shoots. Online leaderboards are also included in the game for the competitive players. The game introduces the online component, means you can unlock several achievements and invite your buddies through social platforms such as Twitter and Facebook. There are many levels, and each level comes with the same procedure but with different tasks and background. With the cannon, you can shoot ragdolls in order to complete several tricky puzzles based on teleporting, gravity, ice, and Ragdoll Spam. The game acts as the sequel to addictive gameplay Ragdoll Blaster, and it enables you to control a cannon. In that context, Ragdoll Blaster 2 is a really good game: bigger and better, but also fundamentally more of the same.Ragdoll Blaster 2 is a Puzzle and Single-player video game developed and published by Backflip Studios in 2010 for iOS. Maybe I'm just shedding a tear for something that's long lost, even if it was ever there. ![]() It's already in the US top 10 and will no doubt stay there for months. This encourages replay in order to get your number of fired ragdolls as low as possible.Įqually, I'd expect Ragdoll Blaster 2 to sell by the App Store-load too. Neatly, you can also easily compare your scores - they're organised into metal-themed rooms, such as Tin, Nickel, and Brass - with other players via Plus+. Some levels remain capricious in terms of how you solve them, but this is less striking than before and there's a delicious feeling of wanting to rush through all 150, mixed with the desire to savour them. You're operating in a more coherent world, and one that maintains Ragdoll Blaster's immediacy as well as its one-more-go-ability. Now, I hasten to point out that this doesn't mean it's any less enjoyable. ![]() All iPhone games are more polished, but even taking that into account, Ragdoll Blaster 2 doesn't have that freshness. First impressionsĮqually, the whole App Store has moved on in the past ten months. However, as much as I enjoy it I'm not sure it has the immediacy of the original. The game also feels much more solid, particularly in terms of the user interface, options, and integration with the Plus+ social gaming network, which is used for awards and leaderboards. The ragdolls even talk and moan as you fire them into boxes, bombs, springs, and wheels. There's more complexity in the gravity effects, teleporters, switches, and other various mechanical contraptions you have to deal with. It's better: at least in terms of general presentation, graphics and audio. The first thing to emphasise is Ragdoll Blaster 2 delivers everything you'd expect from a sequel. So can the cannon hit the target for a second time? Plenty of gunpowder Indeed, it could be said to have lit the fuse on an explosion of ragdoll games. To that extent, Ragdoll Blaster was the right game at the right time. And it all worked brilliantly, with over a hundred levels released and many millions of games downloaded. Your prescribed goal was to use as few ragdolls as possible to hit each target, but really your goal was to have some fairly mindless fun. In May 2009, the original Ragdoll Blaster came out - a great, sketchy, hand drawn game in which you controlled the movement of a cannon to fire ragdoll figures at a target, within increasingly complex physically-modelled worlds. It's amazing how long ten months has been in the maturing iPhone games market. ![]()
